Undercoat
Masonry
Surface
It is highly
recommended that proper priming be carried out prior to putting on the finishing
coat. For external walls or walls with problems such as peeling / chalking etc,
it is important to paint 2 coats of Nippon Oil Base Sealer 5170. This primer
penetrates deeply into the wall surface, giving a more sound and stable surface
for the finishing coat to adhere to.
For covering a darker base colour, use
Nippon Water Base Sealer 5101.
Metal and Wood
Surfaces
For new or rusty
metal surfaces, it is highly recommended that a layer of Nippon Metal Primer Red
Oxide be painted followed by 2 coats of Nippon Bodelac 9000 Enamel.
For new
wood and painted wood or metal, paint a thing layer of Nippon Bodelac 90
Undercoat or Nippon QD Undercoat.
