It is highly recommended that proper priming be carried out prior to putting on the finishing coat. For external walls or walls with problems such as peeling / chalking etc, it is important to paint 2 coats of ICI Dulux Oil Base Sealer (Alkali Resisting Wall Primer Sealer). This primer penetrates deeply into the wall surface, giving a more sound and stable surface for the finishing coat to adhere to. For covering a darker base colour, use ICI Dulux Acrylic Alkali Resisting Primer Sealer.
